How Do I Apply Beard Oil?
Calculate: Use our Beard Oil Calculator to calculate an approximate amount of how many drops of beard oil you need based off of your beard length, hair type and skin type.
Wash and Dry: Wash your beard with warm water and dry with a towel.
Apply: Using the dropper, put half of the required drops on your palms and rub your hands together in order to distribute the oil evenly.
Massage The Skin: With your hands, massage the skin under your beard to nourish the roots and promote beard growth.
Apply Again: Using the dropper, put the other half of the required drops on your palms and rub your hands together in order to distribute the oil evenly.
Massage The Beard: With your hands, run your fingers through your beard.
Comb Finish: Using a comb, preferably wooden, continue to distribute the oil to your beard.
Shape (Optional): Using a wax-based balm, you can further shape and style your beard. Or, using your comb, you can straighten and de-tangle your beard further as required.
Adjust: if your beard is too oily, reduce the amount of drops used. If it is too dry, increase the amount of drops used.
When Should I Apply Beard Oil?
As long as you apply beard oil after you have washed, cleaned and dried your beard, any time will work. The option to place oil on your beard at night can be appealing because it will give your beard time to utilize the oils without interference from the elements during the day, be it weather, dust, and/or other workplace contaminants.
